Bui Dang Minh: Concerned with developing personal capacity for young people
Bui Dang Minh believes that each young person has their own strengths and weaknesses, no two are alike, so they need personalized guidance to have a suitable development path.

Preparation before entering the modern working environment
Since the beginning of 2023, Bui Dang Minh (commonly known as Vicky Bui), along with the Young Talent Group community he founded, has continuously launched free short-term courses for students. The instructors of these courses are a team of experts - people who are working at multinational corporations and companies.
With a duration of about 8 hours per course, divided into 4 sessions, students are exposed to practical skills and professional knowledge. These are open-ended courses, such as office communication skills, critical thinking, service thinking, presentation content development... Or in the professional field, learners understand how "trendy" jobs such as Business Analyst, Data Analisyt are being implemented in businesses, what is the potential in the market...
“These provisions create the premise for young people to understand themselves and be more confident when entering a professional, modern working environment. We do not go into details, but encourage learners to actively deepen their knowledge in many forms and methods,” said Bui Dang Minh.
Ten years ago, after graduating from the Faculty of Accounting (Academy of Finance), Minh was also uncertain about his future career path. However, he was lucky to be accepted to work at a state agency. Then, two years later, this young man born in 1993 decided to leave his comfort zone and try his hand at new environments.
The profession chooses people, from 2017 until now, Minh has been destined to work as a "leadership assistant". This job creates conditions for him to gain valuable perspectives and experiences in building and operating a business. Then Minh began to think about the story of building a business of his own.
By chance, in 2021, the Company's leadership assigned Minh to be in charge of building training and capacity development programs aimed at a new group of employees. Most of these are recent graduates who have never experienced an office environment. The more Minh interacts with this group, the more he realizes that young people today lack a "strategy" for their first professional job: they don't know what they want; they choose jobs based on the crowd effect, without knowing whether they are really suitable or not.
“From that reality, I founded Young Talent Group, with the desire to provide knowledge, guide young people on their journey of self-development, help young people understand their potential, strengths and goals,” Bui Dang Minh shared.
Education model "by students, for students"
In mid-2023, Minh founded PAD Group Vietnam Co., Ltd., focusing on personal capacity development for young people. Because the name PAD is still unfamiliar and not easy to remember, Minh chose to approach by building a learning community called Young Talent Group.
Like any startup, PAD Group also faces difficulties in developing human resources. The startup initially chose to recruit all students because, according to Minh, it was not a matter of capital, but that student employees would be more sympathetic and understanding to the students.
In the context of the market having many models aiming at developing skills for young people, Minh confidently affirms that the difference of PAD Group lies in the core product, which is "Personal strategy map for each stage".
Minh explained that after taking free courses from Young Talent Group, many students can form their own thinking and development orientation. However, many individuals are still confused and need more detailed advice to find their own path. Even taking more in-depth courses, paying for them from PAD Group or any other provider, without the right strategy, the learning process will not be able to bring positive results.
“The Pareto principle says that 80% of results come from 20% of key actions. Referring to the international knowledge base, PAD Group's Strategy Map is designed in stages, suitable for each individual's natural abilities, combined with the serious attitude of each individual, helping young people know where to put 20% of actions to get 80% of results", said the founder, and revealed that every 6 months, the Map is adjusted to suit the actual situation of the learner.
Since its establishment, Minh has organized training courses for a total of 700 students, of which about 30 students have had a “Strategy Map”. Many students have successfully applied for internship positions at large corporations.
The company aims to have at least 1,000 students master and build a "Personal Strategy Map for each stage" by 2024, and is ready to expand courses to the Southern region.
To complete that goal, Minh is working tirelessly. For nearly 2 years, this founder has had almost no time for himself and his family. Minh said that while developing the business and maintaining his job as a leadership assistant, his working day usually ends at 10-11pm and there are no Saturdays or Sundays. In return, Minh feels happy with this imbalance. He always thinks he is lucky because he has a team of associates and experts who are always willing to cooperate and look in the same direction with him.
“Similar to the way gardeners create the right conditions for plants, I want to equip young people with the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to excel on their chosen path,” Bui Dang Minh shared.
