Making a breakthrough in administrative reform, with a focus on reforming administrative procedures, the People's Committee of Van Mieu commune, Thanh Son district, has recently developed a directive on implementing administrative reform tasks and resolving administrative procedures through a one-stop and integrated one-stop mechanism. Thanks to the implementation of many synchronized and flexible solutions, and the promotion of information technology application in the work process, the reception and resolution of administrative procedures in Van Mieu have seen many positive changes, creating satisfaction for the people.

The one-stop service department of the People's Committee of Van Mieu commune assists in resolving administrative procedures for the people.
Van Mieu Commune has 14 residential areas with nearly 2,000 households. To facilitate administrative procedures for residents and organizations, the Commune People's Committee has established a one-stop service center with all necessary equipment and assigned staff to be on duty to ensure efficient citizen reception and support in resolving administrative procedures as quickly as possible. The commune also regularly updates and publicly displays administrative procedures, fees, charges, and addresses for receiving feedback and suggestions regarding administrative regulations at the reception and results delivery department, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and completeness for organizations and individuals to monitor and comply with, while also providing a basis and conditions for exercising their right to supervise the process of receiving and resolving administrative procedures.
Currently, the staff at the one-stop service center of Van Mieu commune are proficient in using document management and administration software, electronic one-stop service software, etc. Besides strictly performing their professional duties, the People's Committee of the commune also requires the one-stop service center to regularly review and update new documents from higher levels to implement administrative procedure reforms in accordance with regulations; actively applying information technology to ensure that procedures are resolved quickly and smoothly. The commune also rotates its staff to participate in training courses to improve their skills and meet job requirements.
Since the beginning of the year, the one-stop service center of Van Mieu commune has received over 700 applications and administrative procedures from individuals and organizations in various fields; 100% of the applications and administrative procedures under its jurisdiction have been reviewed and resolved according to regulations, and 99% of the applications have received results on time or ahead of schedule.
Ms. Do Thi Minh Phuong, a civil servant in the judicial and civil registration department of the commune's People's Committee, said: "Since July 1st, we have implemented 100% online payment. The commune has also established a support team to guide people in registering accounts on the National Public Service Portal."
To further enhance the effectiveness of administrative reform at the commune level and the handling of administrative procedures for citizens, the People's Committee of Van Mieu Commune continues to focus on innovation and improving the quality of work of the reception and results delivery department. Each official and employee upholds a high sense of responsibility, adheres to professional conduct, maintains a civilized and friendly attitude, and resolves administrative procedures for citizens quickly and efficiently.
Promote the application of information technology and document management software in directing, managing, and resolving professional tasks; regularly review the list of administrative procedures at the commune level, ensure proper fee collection and revenue management in accordance with the law, and strengthen support for citizens to submit applications online.
