Sharing at the Vietnam - Poland Higher Education Cooperation Forum, held in Ho Chi Minh City on October 31, Mr. Wojciech Karczewski, Director of the Polish National Academic Exchange Agency (NAWA), wished to promote higher education cooperation between Poland and Vietnam.

Speakers at the Vietnam-Poland Higher Education Cooperation Forum discussed opportunities and challenges in international education development.
The forum is part of a series of activities celebrating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Poland, marking an important milestone in the long-term cooperative relationship between the two countries.
The event was attended by Ms. Joanna Skoczek, Ambassador of Poland to Vietnam; Mr. Wojciech Karczewski, Director of NAWA; Ms. Phung Thi Hong Van, Deputy Head of International Education Department - Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Education and Training ; and representatives of the leadership and experts from 38 Polish and Vietnamese universities.
At the forum, NAWA Director encouraged Vietnamese universities to attend the forum on various funding programs, scholarships and activities of NAWA. From there, there will be more connections and strengthening of cooperation and research projects in many diverse fields. He especially emphasized cooperation and training in key industries, aiming at the socio-economic development goals of the two countries.

Associate Professor - Dr. Pham Tran Vu, Vice Rector of the University of Technology (VNU-HCM), said that meeting with representatives of NAWA and Polish universities today is a good opportunity to develop new cooperative relationships in the future.
"As the person in charge of the university's international cooperation and scientific research projects, I really want to expand partnerships to implement the science and technology development and internationalization strategies of the University of Science and Technology," said Associate Professor - Dr. Vu.
Professor Iwona Miliszewska, Head of the School of Science, Engineering and Technology, RMIT University Vietnam, emphasized that international cooperation is a strong driving force for innovation in many fields.
He hopes that there will be many influential research projects, contributing to the development of science and technology and expanding opportunities for academic exchange and collaboration for both countries.
Established in 2017, NAWA coordinates national-level activities aimed at promoting the internationalization of Polish universities and research institutes.
In particular, supporting the internationalization of science and higher education, promoting Polish language and culture to the world, strengthening the presence of Polish science and higher education on the international stage, supporting the transfer of international knowledge and skills for scientific activity and the economy.
