Promoting Bac Ninh's image on social platforms

On February 24, 2005, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 36/2005/QD-TTg on taking November 23 every year as Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day. Organizing Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day is of great significance in enhancing the sense of responsibility and pride of those working to protect, preserve and promote the values of national cultural heritage in the cause of building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh officially announced and launched the GO TO BACNINH page on 4 social networking platforms including: Facebook; Youtube; Instagram; Tiktok.

GO TO BACNINH brings interesting images and experiences to viewers.

The GO TO BACNINH page posts elaborately staged videos introducing historical and cultural relics; traditional craft villages; typical traditional festivals; typical folk games; eco-tourism spots, hotels, and accommodations in the province... Thereby, contributing to raising awareness of Bac Ninh tourism on social networking platforms; promoting, introducing, and creating momentum for sustainable development of Bac Ninh province.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Dap informed: Bac Ninh province currently has a huge number of cultural heritages with rich tangible and intangible cultural heritages with nearly 5,000 historical and cultural relics, 1,415 ranked relics, and the land of 1,314 traditional festivals.

The whole province has 7 intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO; there are 2 relics, Bo Da Pagoda and Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, located in the scenic complex recognized by UNESCO.

In recent years, the work of protecting and promoting the cultural heritage values of the province has achieved many positive results. The system of historical and cultural relics has been renovated and embellished, many large projects have received investment with large budgets such as But Thap Pagoda, Dam Pagoda, Thanh Xuong Giang relic, Hoang Hoa Tham temple relic...

Notably, the province has systematically and diversely promoted cultural heritage both domestically and internationally. Cultural values in the new period increasingly contribute significantly to economic development and security and defense stability in the locality.
