On the afternoon of November 14th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh province held a meeting to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Vietnam's Cultural Heritage Day and to announce and launch the GO TO BACNINH website.

On February 24, 2005, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 36/2005/QD-TTg designating November 23rd as Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day. Organizing Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day is of great importance in strengthening the sense of responsibility and pride of those working to protect, preserve, and promote the value of national cultural heritage in the cause of building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture rich in national identity.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Vietnam's Cultural Heritage Day, the Bac Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism officially announced the launch of the GO TO BACNINH page on four social media platforms: Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

GO TO BACNINH offers viewers interesting images and experiences.

The GO TO BACNINH page publishes elaborately produced videos showcasing historical and cultural sites; traditional craft villages; typical traditional festivals; characteristic folk games; ecotourism destinations, hotels, and accommodations in the province… Through this, it contributes to raising awareness of Bac Ninh tourism on social media platforms; promoting, introducing, and creating momentum for the sustainable development of Bac Ninh province.

According to Nguyen Van Dap, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Bac Ninh province currently possesses a vast amount of cultural heritage, with rich tangible and intangible cultural heritage, including nearly 5,000 historical and cultural relics, 1,415 classified relics, and the land of 1,314 traditional festivals.

The province has 7 intangible cultural heritage sites recognized by UNESCO; 2 of these sites, Bo Da Pagoda and Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, are located within a complex of scenic sites recognized by UNESCO.

Over the years, the province's efforts in protecting and promoting cultural heritage have yielded many positive results. The system of historical and cultural relics has received attention in terms of restoration and preservation, with significant investment in major projects such as But Thap Pagoda, Dam Pagoda, Xuong Giang Citadel, and Hoang Hoa Tham Temple.

Notably, the province has systematically and diversely promoted its cultural heritage both domestically and internationally. In this new era, cultural values ​​are increasingly making significant contributions to economic development and the stability of local security and defense.
