Four recent draws and losses have left Arsenal with a huge advantage over Man City in the race for the Premier League title. Arteta and his team are under huge pressure heading into the game against Chelsea, as Man City have beaten Fulham and moved to the top of the table.
However, against a Chelsea in serious crisis, Arsenal easily won. The Emirates team only needed the first 34 minutes to score three goals, helping them play comfortably for the rest of the time. Chelsea's efforts to rise were not high, the visitors got an honorary goal in the second half and ended in defeat. This was Chelsea's 6th consecutive defeat under Lampard.
With three points from round 34 of the Premier League, Arsenal has 78 points and has moved to the top of the table, two points ahead of Man City. However, the Gunners have played two more games than their opponents, so the victory over Chelsea only means helping them stop their disappointing streak and not end their hopes of winning the championship.

After the opening whistle, Arsenal took the initiative to play high, pressuring Chelsea. In the 18th minute, Xhaka passed the ball accurately from the left into the penalty area for Odegaard to make a one-touch left-footed shot. The ball went high, close to the crossbar, causing Kepa to jump but was unable to block it.
Chelsea still did not learn from their mistakes after conceding a goal. In the 31st minute, the visitors conceded another goal in the same old pattern. Xhaka crossed from the left into the penalty area and Odegaard finished with one touch with his left foot. This time from a slightly closer distance than the first goal, the ball went into the right corner, leaving Kepa unable to block it again.

Chelsea's loose defense made Kepa's shield in front of the goal weak. In the 34th minute, after a fluctuating ball in the Chelsea penalty area, Jesus quickly finished from the left corner, near the post, sending the ball into the net, increasing the score to 3-0.
With three goals, Arsenal touched the victory and the home team played quite comfortably in the second half. At the beginning of the second half, goalkeeper Kepa played quite hard, plus a bit of luck helped him not have to pick the ball out of the net for the fourth time.

In the 65th minute, Chelsea had a rare good attacking move. Kovacic played a long ball for Madueke to penetrate from the right wing and receive the ball in the center of the penalty area. Madueke's shot hit the ground, helping Chelsea reduce the score to 1-3.
Despite scoring, Chelsea's fighting spirit showed no signs of improvement. The away team played rather poorly in the remaining minutes and accepted defeat at Emirates.
