In his opening speech and direction of the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: There is only one week left until the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, right before the time when the whole country simultaneously announces the system of organizational apparatus and administrative units (June 30), putting into operation simultaneously at the provincial and communal levels from July 1, 2025.
Therefore, the Prime Minister requested functional units and localities to thoroughly implement, uphold the sense of responsibility, complete assigned tasks well, ensure the exam takes place safely, seriously, objectively, thoughtfully, smoothly, compactly, equally; and reflect the quality of training objectively.

Regarding the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong said: This year's exam will take place from June 25 to 28, with the two official exam days being June 26 and 27.
According to the summary, the total number of candidates registered for the exam nationwide is 1,165,289 candidates, an increase of nearly 100,000 candidates compared to 2024. Of which, candidates taking the exam under the 2018 General Education Program are 1,138,579 candidates; candidates taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program are 26,711 candidates.
The country has arranged 2,493 examination sites with 50,039 examination rooms. It is expected that about 200,000 personnel will be mobilized to participate in the organization of the examination, such as officials, teachers in the education sector, police, military, medical, electricity forces, etc.

In Thanh Hoa, according to information from the Department of Education and Training, the number of candidates registered for the exam in the whole province is 41,577. Of which, the number of high school candidates is 35,543; the number of continuing education candidates is 6,034. The whole province has arranged 85 exam sites, with 1,807 exam rooms, an increase of 122 exam rooms and more than 2,800 candidates compared to 2024.
Implementing the direction of the National and Provincial Examination Steering Committees, the Department of Education and Training has consulted on the development of a plan and mobilized human resources to participate in the examination supervision work according to regulations, which is 6,484 people (not including the inspection and examination control force).
