Fashion month is coming to an end and fashionistas are getting a chance to witness the most exciting week in Paris, France. Dior's opening show of Paris Fashion Week proved this with a star-studded lineup.
Powerful Women
“I hope that building a strong spirit and a healthy body will be the greatest work I ever create,” reads the introduction to Dior’s latest collection. It is a quote from archer SAGG Napoli (Sofia Gianni). The words are engraved on the metal and glass structure, becoming a haunting theme throughout the show.
Napoli strode down the long catwalk, holding a bow. Instead of a bag, she carried arrows over one shoulder. When she reached the finish line, she shrugged and let loose the arrows. Meanwhile, models walked casually in sportswear . The scene was reminiscent of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Based on the theme of female empowerment, the French luxury fashion house's new guest lineup also caused a stir in the media. Vogue commented that the guest of honor at the Dior show was not a brand ambassador, but a real political figure.

In addition, the event also became the center of attention when the seats gathered muses, long-time supporters and famous Asian stars such as Natalie Portman, Anya Taylor-Joy, Kelly Rutherford, Jisoo (Blackpink), Nam Joo Hyuk and Dilraba Dilmurat. When grace meets athleticism
This time, Maria Grazia Chiuri's color palette - creative director of Dior's womenswear - was limited mainly to black, white and a bold red that made a momentary splash.
Instead of color, Chiuri focused on the texture and cut of the outfit. She emphasized the asymmetrical elements with asymmetrical collars and multiple cuts on the one-piece tracksuit (Photo: Dior).
The interplay of black and white is evident in the racing stripes and sporty stripes on the garments. In some places, the Dior logo is stretched to look like an optical illusion.
The models’ hair was slicked back and their makeup was minimal, keeping the focus on their bodies and outfits. As the show progressed, the message became clearer.
Whether the models wore tomboyish suits or elegant long dresses, they all looked fiercely determined, like Napoli. They showed resilience, exuding the strength of the Amazons (Photo: Dior).
"There should never be a mutual exclusion between the words 'strong' and 'feminine'. Strong female icons from history, legend and today always serve as reminders" is the final message the French fashion house wants to convey (Photo: Dior).
