According to the Ministry of Education and Training , from July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5, candidates can pay online for their applications according to the provinces/cities (where candidates have submitted their applications):
From July 29 to 5:00 p.m. July 30 : Hanoi, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang (including Tuyen Quang and the old Ha Giang), Lao Cai (including Lao Cai and the old Yen Bai ), Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La.
From 0:00 on July 30 to 17:00 on July 31 : Thai Nguyen (including Thai Nguyen and the old Bac Kan), Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Phu Tho (including the old Phu Tho, Hoa Binh, Vinh Phuc), Bac Ninh (including the old Bac Ninh and Bac Giang), Hai Phong City (including the old Hai Phong City and Hai Duong).
From 0:00 on July 31 to 17:00 on August 1 : Hung Yen (including Hung Yen and the old Thai Binh), Ninh Binh (including Ninh Binh and the old Ha Nam and Nam Dinh), Thanh Hoa, Nghe An.
From 0:00 on August 1 to 17:00 on August 2 : Ha Tinh, Quang Tri (including old Quang Tri and Quang Binh), Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang City (including old Da Nang City and Quang Nam), Quang Ngai (including old Quang Ngai and Kon Tum).
From 0:00 on August 2 to 17:00 on August 3 : Gia Lai (including Gia Lai and the old Binh Dinh), Dak Lak (including Dak Lak and the old Phu Yen), Lam Dong (including Lam Dong and Dak Nong, the old Binh Thuan), Khanh Hoa (including Khanh Hoa and the old Ninh Thuan).
From 0:00 on August 3 to 17:00 on August 4 : Ho Chi Minh City (including Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau), Dong Nai (including Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc), Tay Ninh (including Tay Ninh and Long An).
From 0:00 on August 4 to 17:00 on August 5 : Vinh Long (including Vinh Long and Ben Tre, old Tra Vinh), Dong Thap (including Dong Thap and old Tien Giang), An Giang (including old An Giang and Kien Giang), Can Tho City (including Can Tho City and Hau Giang, old Soc Trang), Ca Mau (including old Ca Mau and Bac Lieu).
Steps to pay university and college admission fees
Step 1 : Candidates log in to the 2025 University and College Admission Registration System via the link: https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn/
Step 2 : On the main screen, click on the Register for admission information section
Click the OK button to enter the Candidate Registration Information screen.
Step 3 : Click on View list of registered wishes
Step 4 : To make payment of the desired amount, candidates click the Payment button.
Step 5 : Here the system will display 19 payment channels and the amount the candidate needs to pay (determined according to the selected wishes) in the Payment Value section. Candidates choose one of the 19 payment channels to make payment.
Note : After completing the operations on the payment channel, the system will automatically return to the original page (before clicking the Payment button in step 4 above).
If the system requires re-login, candidates should log in and access again to check the status of their wishes. When the wish shows the status Recorded NV - NV has been paid , the process is complete (if the wish status has not been recorded, please press Ctrl + F5 to Refresh the screen).
General Notes
- The 2025 University and College Admission Registration System (XT System) allows candidates to choose 1 of 19 different payment channels (provided on the National Public Service Portal) to pay the admission fee, including:
(1) Banking channels: Vietcombank, Vietinbank, Agribank, BIDV, SHB, VPBank, TPBank, MBBank, HDBank.
(2) Payment intermediary organizations: Other banks via VNPT Money, Vietnam Post, Ngan Luong, Payoo, Napas, HPay (each of these contacts includes most of the banks operating in Vietnam).
(3) E-wallets: VNPT Money, Momo, Viettel Money.
(4) Mobile payment channel: VNPT Mobile Money.
Candidates can pay by themselves using their own bank account/e-wallet account (if any) or ask relatives or teachers to pay on their behalf on the candidate's payment interface.
Candidates only pay fees on the XT System, not on any other payment channel (in case another payment channel arises, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce on the XT System and mass media).
In case the candidate does not see the "Payment" button at the application registration interface, it means that the time is not within the time period for paying the math fee or it is temporarily hidden to prevent congestion in the payment system.
The online payment process depends on connecting many different systems, so candidates may encounter system congestion. In that case, candidates should not try to access again immediately, wait about 30 minutes and then try again.
