According to the Ministry of Education and Training , from July 29th to 5 PM on August 5th, candidates can pay online for their nguyện vọng (preferences) according to the provinces/cities where they submitted their applications:
From July 29th to 5 PM on July 30th : Hanoi, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang (including the former Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang), Lao Cai (including the former Lao Cai and Yen Bai ), Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La.
From 0:00 on July 30th to 17:00 on July 31st : Thai Nguyen (including the former Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan), Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Phu Tho (including the former Phu Tho, Hoa Binh, and Vinh Phuc), Bac Ninh (including the former Bac Ninh and Bac Giang), Hai Phong City (including the former Hai Phong and Hai Duong cities).
From 0:00 on July 31st to 17:00 on August 1st : Hung Yen (including the former Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces), Ninh Binh (including the former Ninh Binh, Ha Nam, and Nam Dinh provinces), Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An provinces.
From 0:00 on August 1st to 17:00 on August 2nd : Ha Tinh, Quang Tri (including the former Quang Tri and Quang Binh), Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang City (including the former Da Nang City and Quang Nam), Quang Ngai (including the former Quang Ngai and Kon Tum).
From 0:00 on August 2nd to 17:00 on August 3rd : Gia Lai (including the former Gia Lai and Binh Dinh provinces), Dak Lak (including the former Dak Lak and Phu Yen provinces), Lam Dong (including the former Lam Dong, Dak Nong, and Binh Thuan provinces), Khanh Hoa (including the former Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces).
From 0:00 on August 3rd to 17:00 on August 4th : Ho Chi Minh City (including Ho Chi Minh City and the former Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces), Dong Nai (including the former Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces), Tay Ninh (including the former Tay Ninh and Long An provinces).
From 0:00 on August 4th to 17:00 on August 5th : Vinh Long (including Vinh Long and the former Ben Tre and Tra Vinh), Dong Thap (including the former Dong Thap and Tien Giang), An Giang (including the former An Giang and Kien Giang), Can Tho City (including Can Tho City and the former Hau Giang and Soc Trang), Ca Mau (including the former Ca Mau and Bac Lieu).
Steps to pay university and college admission fees
Step 1 : Candidates log in to the 2025 University and College Admission Registration System via the link: https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn/
Step 2 : On the main screen, click on the Register for admission information section
Click the OK button to enter the Candidate Registration Information screen
Step 3 : Click on View list of registered preferences
Step 4 : To make payment of the desired amount, candidates click the Payment button
Step 5 : Here, the system will display 19 payment channels and the amount the candidate needs to pay (determined corresponding to the selected preferences) in the "Payment Amount" section. The candidate chooses one of the 19 payment channels to make the payment.
Note : After completing the steps on the payment channel, the system will automatically return to the initial page (before clicking the "Pay" button in step 4 above).
If the system requires re-login, candidates should log in and access again to check the status of their wishes. When the wish shows the status Recorded NV - NV has been paid , the process is completed (if the wish status has not been recorded, please press Ctrl + F5 to Refresh the screen).
General notes
- The 2025 university and college admission registration system (Admission System) allows candidates to choose one of 19 different payment channels (provided on the National Public Service Portal) to pay the application fee, including:
(1) Banking channels: Vietcombank, Vietinbank, Agribank, BIDV, SHB, VPBank, TPBank, MBBank, HDBank.
(2) Payment intermediary organizations: Other banks via VNPT Money, Vietnam Post, Ngan Luong, Payoo, Napas, HPay (after each of these points, most banks operating in Vietnam are included).
(3) Electronic wallets: VNPT Money, Momo, Viettel Money.
(4) Mobile payment channel: VNPT Mobile Money.
Candidates can pay themselves using their own bank account/e-wallet account (if any) or ask a relative or teacher to pay on their behalf through the candidate's payment interface.
Candidates must only pay the application fee through the XT System and not through any other payment channels (in the event that other payment channels become available, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce it on the XT System and through mass media).
If candidates do not see the "Payment" button on the application registration interface, it means that the payment period is not yet open or the button is temporarily hidden to prevent system congestion.
The online payment process relies on connecting multiple different systems, so candidates may encounter system congestion. In such cases, candidates should not attempt to access the system again immediately; wait approximately 30 minutes before trying again.
