The entrance exam for grade 10 at the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities took place on May 24-25, about a week earlier than last year.
Students must take four exams, including Literature, Math, English and specialized subjects (Literature, History, Geography). Of these, Math and English are multiple choice tests, the rest are essay tests.
To be eligible for admission, candidates must score 4 points or more in three general subjects and 6 points or more in specialized subjects. They can only register for one specialized class and take the corresponding exam.
The admission score is the general Literature score and the specialized subject score multiplied by a factor of two, maximum 30. Math and English are only conditional subjects and are not counted in the admission score.
