The National Assembly will question the Minister of Education and Training about extra teaching and learning.

The National Assembly Standing Committee has just informed about the organization of questioning at the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly.

Accordingly, out of 316 National Assembly deputies expressing their opinions, 255 deputies chose to question the group of issues in the financial sector (accounting for 80.7%); 192 deputies chose the group of issues in theeducation and training sector (accounting for 60.76%). The group of issues in the science and technology sector was chosen by 184 deputies (accounting for 58.23%).

Thus, according to regulations, the two groups of issues that will be questioned by the National Assembly at the 9th session are finance and education, corresponding to the responsibilities of Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang and Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son.

Based on the results of this consultation, the National Assembly Standing Committee has also developed a program for the question and answer session at the 9th session. The question and answer session will last 1.5 days (from June 19 to the morning of June 20).

In the first session, Finance Minister Nguyen Van Thang will answer questions about financial solutions for socio -economic development, ensuring growth targets, renewing traditional growth drivers, and establishing and promoting new growth drivers.

The group of issues for the Commander of the Finance sector also includes solutions to improve the operational efficiency of State-owned enterprises; solutions to support and promote the development of the private economy into the most important driving force of the economy.

Solutions to promote foreign direct investment (FDI). Mechanisms and policies to promote and attract investment, develop industrial parks, economic zones... are also among the issues that Mr. Thang will answer questions about.

Sharing the burden with Minister Nguyen Van Thang were two Deputy Prime Ministers, Mr. Ho Duc Phoc and Mr. Nguyen Chi Dung, along with the Ministers of Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Science and Technology, and Foreign Affairs.

Next, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son will answer the second group of questions in the field of education and training.

This group of issues includes the current situation and solutions for developing and improving the quality of university education in conjunction with the requirements for training high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of socio-economic development. The implementation of legal regulations on extra teaching and learning is a current issue, which will also be clearly answered by the Commander of the education sector in his speech.

In addition, Minister Nguyen Kim Son also answered questions about ensuring a safe, healthy, and friendly educational environment; preventing school violence; and ensuring food safety and hygiene in schools.

Also participating in answering questions and explaining related issues were Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and the Ministers of Finance, Home Affairs, Health, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Science and Technology, and Public Security.

From 10:20 a.m. on June 20, the Prime Minister (or authorized Deputy Prime Minister) will report on issues related to the Government's operations and directly answer questions from National Assembly deputies.
