On October 14, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting with departments, branches and sectors to listen to the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board report and propose a list of priority projects to attract investment in Van Phong Economic Zone for the period up to 2025, with a vision to 2030.

At the meeting, the Management Board of Khanh Hoa Economic Zones and Industrial Parks presented to the Provincial People's Committee a list of 9 priority projects to attract investment in Van Phong Economic Zone for 4 groups of fields, including urban - service - tourism ; industry and clean energy; seaport - logistics, port logistics; investment in infrastructure of duty-free zones.

In addition, this agency proposed adding 14 new projects to update and complete the investment attraction list for the 2025-2030 period in line with the orientation of developing Van Phong Economic Zone into a dynamic economic center of the province and the South Central region.

Of which, the innovation, research and development, high technology group has 1 project; the urban - tourism - service group has 10 projects; the environmental technical infrastructure group has 3 projects.

Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Toan highly appreciated the initiative of the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board in reviewing and updating the project list in accordance with the approved planning.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee basically agreed with the proposal of the list of priority projects to attract investment in Van Phong Economic Zone for the period up to 2025, with a vision to 2030, of the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board.

At the same time, Mr. Toan requested that this agency closely coordinate with relevant departments and branches to review resettlement land funds to arrange for projects, paying special attention to arranging in areas with high population density; paying attention to arranging land funds to build suitable resettlement areas, ensuring better or equal to the old residence; developing appropriate waste treatment plans for projects to prioritize investment attraction.

Mr. Toan also assigned relevant departments and branches to coordinate with the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board to complete the dossier to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for official approval of the list of priority projects, as a basis for promoting investment in the coming time.
