Pick up the lanterns immediately after releasing them into the lake.

According to the plan, the organizers will light up 35,000 lanterns. Of these, 20,000 are made of paper and candles, 10,000 are battery-operated lotus-shaped lanterns, and 5,000 are made of plastic and placed around the area above the lake in Lang Le Park.

In addition, the organizers also decorated 7 large lotus flowers to create a highlight for the lake space.

After the leaders and delegates released a few symbolic lanterns into the lake, the organizers announced that people could place the lanterns next to the lake or in the area around the flower beds instead of releasing them into the lake.

The organizers announced that they will not release lanterns into the lake to ensure safety and protect the environment.

Immediately afterwards, volunteers retrieved the floating lanterns that had been released into the lake. Most people were happy and agreed with the decision of the organizing committee.
