Amidst the vast green grass and drifting clouds, on the evening of August 9, Bui Hui grassland (Dang Thuy Tram commune, Quang Ngai) became the stage for the festival "Prairie Night - Touching the Clouds". This is the first time the locality has organized a cloud hunting program combining music and cultural experiences right in the middle of the highlands.
Bui Hui grassland becomes a music stage
From 3pm to 10pm on August 9, visitors will be able to explore many activities such as displaying and selling OCOP products and mountain specialties; enjoying local cuisine ; experiencing camping and campfires; immersing themselves in Hre culture with gongs, bamboo dances, ta leu singing, ka choi... on the windy and cloudy Bui Hui grassland.
The highlight is the ballad and acoustic music night with the theme "Love". The stage is set in the middle of a windy grassland, where clouds drift across the horizon.
12 popular ballad songs will be performed by Le Mai Anh - runner-up of Shining Dream season 2.
The gentle, deep melodies will blend with the sound of the wind, the smell of grass, and the chill of the highlands, creating the feeling that music and nature are embracing the listener.
"We want this event to be not just a music night, but a wonderful experience, where visitors can truly immerse themselves in nature and local culture," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Van, Chairwoman of Dang Thuy Tram Commune People's Committee.
Many tourists in Quang Ngai and other provinces are attracted by the event held for the first time in Quang Ngai. The careful preparation and the captivating scenery of Bui Hui grassland are becoming hot on social networks. People invite each other to "Come to Bui Hui to touch the clouds".

Bui Hui Grassland, new tourism potential of Quang Ngai
Bui Hui is located at an altitude of nearly 700m above sea level, with a cool climate all year round. This place is famous for its long grassy hills, hugging the mountain slopes, dotted with wildflowers and small streams. In the morning, the sea of white clouds covers, at noon the sun is warm, in the afternoon the wind blows strongly, and at night the sky is full of stars.
The scenery in Bui Hui is likened to a "grassland in the clouds" in the middle of the Central region. The fresh air and open space make this place a favorite destination for young people, photographers and those looking for a quiet place to relax.
However, Bui Hui has so far mainly attracted individual visitors or small groups. With the "Touch the Clouds" festival, the locality wants to create more large-scale tourism products, combining landscape - music - culture, thereby extending the length of stay and increasing visitors' spending.
"We aim to turn Bui Hui into a destination that is both modern and rustic, so that every cloudy season is an occasion for people to want to return," said Ms. Van.
This event is also an opportunity for the local community to directly participate in tourism activities: selling specialties, introducing culture, providing camping services, and guiding experiences. When people are part of the tourism product, they will have more income and motivation to preserve the landscape and identity.
With the advantage of cool climate, unique landscape and distinctive culture, Bui Hui can completely become a "new star" on the Quang Ngai tourism map.
And who knows, in the next few years with the breakthrough and creativity of Quang Ngai tourism industry, when mentioning cloud hunting, people will immediately think of a clear morning in Bui Hui grassland, where the earth and sky embrace each other.
