Di Linh: Launching Workers' Month 2025

Di Linh District Labor Federation presented 20 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances.

The program was attended by more than 200 union members from grassroots unions in the district.

The activity aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 138th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025), and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025).

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Cuong - Chairman of the Di Linh District Labor Federation said: The 2025 Workers' Month has the theme "Vietnamese workers are pioneers entering a new era"; The Month of Action on occupational safety and hygiene has the theme "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace". The Standing Committee of the District Labor Federation requested that trade unions at all levels in the district actively coordinate with the authorities and professional counterparts to implement practical, safe, effective, focused, and key activities towards workers. Thereby contributing to building an increasingly strong workforce of Di Linh district workers and civil servants; contributing to the successful implementation of the local political , economic, and social tasks.

In particular, the grassroots trade union needs to coordinate with the authorities, professionals at the same level and employers to organize practical activities such as: Culture, sports ; periodic health check-ups; visiting, encouraging, and providing timely subsidies for those in difficult circumstances, having work accidents, suffering from serious illnesses... Organizing activities to inspect and supervise the implementation of laws, policies and regimes related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers and civil servants.

At the same time, continue to promote the patriotic emulation movement, successfully implement the Resolution of Di Linh District on socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security, Party building, and building the political system in 2025. Focus on the work of developing union members; promptly commend, honor, and reward individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements in labor production and work associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style...

Grassroots trade unions proactively participate and coordinate with employers to focus on reviewing and supplementing regulations, procedures, and technical measures on labor safety and fire prevention and fighting in departments and workshops; providing labor safety and hygiene training to workers; and improving the quality of the labor safety and hygiene network.

On this occasion, the Di Linh District Labor Federation presented 20 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances at agencies and businesses in the area.
