Drive with family to Aeon Mall supermarket to play and then steal

(HNMO) - On June 18, Ha Dong District Police ( Hanoi ) is conducting legal proceedings against NHM (born in 1999; in Lam Dien Commune, Chuong My District, Hanoi) to clarify the act of property theft.

Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on June 11, NHM, her husband PVV, and their children and grandchildren went to Aeon Mall Ha Dong, Duong Noi Ward, Ha Dong District (Hanoi) to have fun. While entering the supermarket area, M realized that the staff was negligent in not checking the purchased items, so she had the idea of stealing property. M went into the stalls in the supermarket on the first floor and stole some goods. After that, M put them in 2 supermarket bags and brought them to where her husband was sitting drinking coffee.

Evidence of the case.

Not seeing her husband but only her younger brother and cousin, M left two bags and told her younger brother to tell her husband to bring the bags to the car when he returned. After saying that, M called her husband, then continued to the 3rd floor of Aeon Mall. Here, M went into the toy area and continued to steal, stuffing them into a cart, going down to the 1st floor and meeting her husband and some relatives. When M put the stolen goods into the car, she was discovered by Aeon Mall security.

The incident was then handed over to the Criminal Police Team, Ha Dong District Police for investigation.

According to Ha Dong District Police, in the first 6 months of 2023 alone, 5 cases with 5 theft subjects were investigated and clarified at Aeon Mall.

To effectively prevent and combat theft at supermarkets and large shopping malls, Ha Dong District Police recommends that, in addition to the police force increasing ambushes, disguised inspections, and surveillance, the management unit itself must strengthen its monitoring and protection system for its goods. Along with that, each citizen when going to markets, supermarkets, and shopping malls, in addition to protecting their own property, when seeing suspicious signs of others, should immediately report to the security force for handling measures.
