On the morning of June 4, the People's Committee of Cam Giang district held a conference to announce the decision to recognize the four communes of Tan Truong, Ngoc Lien, Cam Hung, and Luong Dien as meeting the model new rural standards in 2024.

Luong Dien, Cam Hung and Ngoc Lien communes are model new rural communes that excel in production. Tan Truong commune excels in culture.

After achieving the advanced new rural standards, the above communes focused on investing in upgrading infrastructure in a synchronous manner, ensuring connection with the local socio -economic infrastructure to be bright - green - clean - beautiful and modern. The agricultural and rural economy has gradually developed, shifting positively towards commodity production with higher scale and efficiency. The average income per capita of the communes reached 79 - 84 million VND/person/year. The multidimensional poverty rate is below 1%.

Of these, 10 communes including Duc Chinh, Cao An, Cam Dong, Cam Van, Cam Doai, Dinh Son, Tan Truong, Ngoc Lien, Cam Hung, and Luong Dien have been recognized as model new rural communes, the most in the province.
