Tan Uyen town has 76 households subject to the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses according to Directive No. 42/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on accelerating the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide (62 households building new houses, 14 households repairing). Of these, there are 3 households with meritorious services in need of repair and 56 poor households, 17 near-poor households (both new construction and repair). The total estimated cost of implementation is about 9.67 billion VND, of which the state support source is 4.14 billion VND, the rest is support sources from organizations, funds "for the poor" and some other support sources...

In order to carry out the movement of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, the Town Party Committee has done a good job of leading and directing the political system; villages and residential groups have focused and resolutely joined in the review and organization of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses.

Comrade Pham Chi Muoi - Chairman of Tan Uyen Town People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.

The work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses received enthusiastic support from local people, solidarity and support from officials, party members, socio-political organizations, and support from philanthropists and businesses, promoting combined strength and arousing the spirit of mutual love among the people.

Mobilizing cement, sand, gravel, and labor days from police forces, militia, neighborhood groups, youth unions, women's unions, farmers' associations, etc. with over 900 labor days. Organizations and individuals supported money and goods with a total value of 300 million VND.

Comrade Ngo Doan Binh - Secretary of Tan Uyen Town Party Committee presented the national flag, Uncle Ho's photo and support money to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses to beneficiaries.

Households whose temporary and dilapidated houses were removed were highly determined in organizing and implementing, urgently constructing, ensuring the quality and progress set out, always trusting in the leadership of the Party and the State. The work of removing temporary and dilapidated houses ensured standards and quality, 1 month ahead of schedule compared to the set plan.

Timely recognition and praise, creating a spread throughout society, the Chairman of the Town People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 collectives and 30 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
