The program of giving gifts to people in difficult circumstances, orphans and disabled children in the district was organized by the Hanoi Red Cross Society within the framework of the program of the preliminary review meeting of the work of Emulation Cluster No. 1 of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.
The program not only has profound humanitarian values, sharing love with those in difficult circumstances, but also contributes practically to the goal of sustainable poverty reduction in the area.
The gifts given from scholarships, essential supplies to cash support are a timely source of encouragement to help students have more conditions to continue studying, help families reduce the burden of living expenses, stabilize their lives in the short term and create a foundation for long-term development.

Through the program, the Hanoi Red Cross Society also hopes to convey the message of concern and support in the community, contributing to building a sustainable social security network, towards a humane society where no one is left behind. This is an important factor in the process of implementing sustainable development goals in localities, especially in areas with many difficulties such as Soc Son district.
At the program, Emulation Cluster No. 1 awarded 15 scholarships to students who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies. The Hanoi Red Cross Society and other units presented 50 gifts to orphans and disabled children. At the same time, the Society presented 100 gifts to 100 families in difficult circumstances.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the total value of social relief work of the entire Emulation Cluster No. 1 of the Vietnam Red Cross Society reached over 297.1 billion VND. Notably, the "Humanitarian Tet" movement and Humanitarian Month. In the "Humanitarian Tet" movement, the Cluster units provided assistance to 771,650 poor households, policy families, people with disabilities, and orphans, with a value of over 216.7 billion VND.
In the last 6 months of 2025, implementing the policy of reorganizing the apparatus and administrative units, cities in the Target Cluster will promote the campaign "Each organization, each individual is associated with a humanitarian address", replicate effective models, develop new models...
