Within the framework of the Vietnam-Asia DX Summit 2025 organized by the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA) on May 27-28, delegates had a discussion session on breakthrough solutions for businesses to effectively and sustainably transform digitally.
Experts emphasize that digital transformation requires “digital people.” Training and developing human resources who master technology and work in a digital environment is a decisive factor for Vietnamese enterprises to successfully transform digitally.
Digital transformation is a long-term development strategy
Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the Institute of Information Technology, Vietnam National University , Hanoi, said that business leaders need to clearly identify digital transformation as not a technology project but a long-term development strategy, requiring strong commitment from the executive board, from strategic orientation to operating model, internal culture and customer experience.
“The decisive factor for success is not technology but people, more precisely, leadership thinking. If leaders do not truly understand and lead, digital transformation will forever be just a series of disconnected pieces with software purchased but not used, planning but not being able to implement,” Mr. Le Quang Minh emphasized.
However, digital transformation cannot be successful if workers are not willing to learn, innovate and experiment. Therefore, businesses need to build a digital culture, encourage workers to be creative, and organize training so that workers have the opportunity to proactively apply technology to their work.
According to Mr. Le Quang Minh, the two important factors to build a “digital human” are digital awareness and digital capacity. Among them, digital awareness plays a decisive role; if the awareness is not correct, there is no determination to change.
From the actual operations of the enterprise, Ms. Trinh Thi Lan, Director of Digital Transformation Consulting Services of Viettel Solutions, shared that along with digital transformation, enterprises are also interested in green transformation.

Digital transformation is the process of applying digital technology and digital data to fundamentally change the business model and operating methods of organizations and enterprises.
Meanwhile, green transformation is a process of change towards sustainable development, minimizing negative impacts on the environment and using natural resources effectively, meeting environmental, social, governance and corporate social responsibility standards.
Ms. Trinh Thi Lan informed that by 2023, 47% of Vietnamese enterprises will have implemented some form of digital transformation; 40% of enterprises have planned and committed to green transformation, especially 48.7% consider this an important factor.
Ms. Trinh Thi Lan commented that transformation - green transformation is a dual transformation, a trend for businesses in the digital age. The combination of these two important trends will promote sustainable development goals of businesses, countries and the world.
Vivina - bridging technology with community
The Vivina digital platform developed by Globaltech Investment and Technology Development and Connection Group Limited Company was officially launched at the Vietnam-Asia Digital Transformation Summit 2025.
