In the men's 20 km race walk, Nguyen Thanh Ngung and Vo Xuan Vinh competed fiercely on the race track, and in the end, Thanh Ngung won the gold medal with a time of 1 hour 32 minutes 29 seconds. This is the 14th time in his career that Nguyen Thanh Ngung has won the men's 20 km race walk gold medal for Da Nang , standing shoulder to shoulder with his sister Thanh Phuc on the highest victory podium.
