More than 23,000 students participate in "Exam Support" at 171 graduation exam locations

(NLDO) - This year's "Exam Support" soldiers will be present at 171 high school graduation exam sites in Ho Chi Minh City, on duty and supporting emergency cases.

On June 21, the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Student Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center held the launching ceremony of the "Supporting Exam Season" program in 2025 at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted (District 5).

Attending the launching ceremony were nearly 3,000 students, representing more than 23,000 volunteer students in Ho Chi Minh City participating in this year's exam season.

The program attracted more than 23,000 student volunteers to register and participate in online and offline content.

This year, the program will directly deploy 10 volunteer teams with the participation of 3,000 students, supporting candidates at 171 exam locations.

The teams will advise and support candidates, guide exam rooms, provide medical support, handle emergency situations, ensure security and order at exam locations, assist with traffic control, assist with luggage storage, and distribute essential items and exam information handbooks.

Mr. Le Nguyen Nam, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center, Deputy organizer of the "Supporting Exam Season" program in Ho Chi Minh City, shared: "The program continues to promote the application of AI technology and digital transformation in supporting candidates, especially on online platforms.

All of this is aimed at bringing more convenience, speed and efficiency to students during exam season. Most importantly, it is the spirit of sharing and the companionship of the whole society for the candidates."

After completing the high school graduation exam, the program will continue to support candidates in separate entrance exams, aptitude exams, and admission to colleges and universities.

At the beginning of the school year, the "Exam Support" program transitioned to supporting new students for the 2025-2026 school year according to the general direction of the City Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Student Association.

From March 2025 to June 2025, the program awarded hundreds of cash scholarships worth more than 3.5 billion VND.

The Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center requested that volunteers strictly adhere to the student volunteer style, promote a sense of responsibility and professional attitude at testing sites and online; proactively update information about exams, admissions, and occupations to provide accurate and effective advice to candidates and their families; strictly implement regulations and coordinate well with functional forces at testing sites, ensure safety, convenience, and inspire candidates positively, spreading beautiful and humane actions to the community.
