On June 21, the Healing Day program took place in Da Nang City to provide young people with modern, scientific and effective mental health care solutions.
The Peace Festival program was initiated by Dr. Le Nguyen Phuong, a psychologist with over 30 years of experience in the US and Vietnam. Da Nang City is the third locality in Vietnam to organize the program.
The program is free of charge to create opportunities for many people to access methods of sharing, listening and supporting psychological problems.
The program aims to provide solutions for people to overcome psychological problems.

At the festival, Dr. Le Nguyen Phuong and volunteers created a space for people to find empathy, support, and healing. Group activities helped participants build resilience and improve their psychological well-being, enhance empathy, interpersonal skills, body awareness, and practical self-care techniques, all of which contribute to overall health and inner peace.
The program is designed with a variety of psychological and neuroscience principles and therapies including psychological processes (empathy activities, sharing and listening to each other's stories), physical activities (practicing breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation to increase body awareness and cultivate inner peace).
Psychologists shared many practical values with participants, how to turn psychological pain into inner peace, thereby contributing to building a community with a healthy and peaceful spiritual life.
Participating in the program, Mr. Tran Bung, a volunteer, said that "healing" is a popular concept but also easily misunderstood. The Peace Festival aims to provide solutions for everyone on how to take care of their mental health, share love, and listen.
