Accordingly, the Provincial People's Council resolved to adjust the area of land use conversion and land recovery from 53.06 hectares to 50.638 hectares (a decrease of 2.422 hectares).
In which, the area of protective forest land is adjusted down from 9.32 ha to 7.3138 ha (reduced by 2.0062 ha); a part of other land area is adjusted down and the land use purpose is changed to production forest land with an area of 6.6902 ha; the area of other land is adjusted down from 42.74 ha to 35.634 ha.


Previously, according to the submission of the Provincial People's Committee, the Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 28B through Binh Thuan and Lam Dong provinces (in Binh Thuan province) was approved by the Provincial People's Council in Resolution No. 07/NQ-HDND dated January 26, 2024 according to the provisions of the 2013 Land Law. The project registered an area of land use conversion and land recovery of 53.06 hectares with the following land types: Rice land 1 hectare; protective forest land 9.32 hectares; other land 42.74 hectares. According to the appraisal results report of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (now the Department of Agriculture and Environment), after measuring and mapping the project boundary adjustment, there were 50.638 hectares of land that needed to be registered for land use conversion and land recovery. Including rice land 1 hectare; protective forest land 7.3138 hectares; Production forest land 6.6902 ha (previously this production forest land area was added to other land); other land 35.634 ha. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the registered area for land use purpose conversion and land recovery of the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 28B through Binh Thuan and Lam Dong provinces (belonging to Binh Thuan province) from 53.06 ha to 50.638 ha in Resolution No. 07/NQ-HDND dated January 26, 2024 .

It is known that the land area after adjustment in the Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 28B through Binh Thuan province and Lam Dong province (section through Binh Thuan province) with an area of 50.368 hectares, the purpose of use is traffic land, invested by the Vietnam Road Administration. This land area belongs to Luong Son town and the communes of Song Luy, Song Binh, Phan Lam, Phan Son. The Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 28B through Binh Thuan province and Lam Dong province has a total route length of about 69 km, of which the section through Binh Thuan is about 51 km long; the total cost is more than 1,400 billion VND. From April 2024, this project was started, expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
