Orientation of press and propaganda work in July

On the morning of July 4, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a conference to review press and propaganda work in June and orient propaganda work in July. Comrade Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department chaired the conference.

At the conference, delegates listened to the leaders of the Provincial Statistics Office report on the socio -economic development situation of the province; issues related to statistical work; some initial results of the survey to collect information on the socio-economic situation of ethnic minority households in 2023-2024, and collect data on population and housing of ethnic minority areas.

In June, the provincial and central press agencies stationed in the area closely followed the propaganda orientation, promptly informed about political events and current events in the province as well as in the country and the world; actively propagated and comprehensively reflected all aspects of Party building, political system building, socio-economic development, national defense and security.

In particular, the activities of the Conference to announce the Ninh Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024; activities to meet voters of People's Council delegates at all levels in localities; and propaganda on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the province were strongly promoted.

During the month, the activities of the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Culture and Sports in the fields of press and propaganda; the information orientation and propaganda activities of the Propaganda sector continued to have many innovations, closely following political tasks, ensuring effectiveness and substance.

The work of coordinating, directing and organizing the activities of the Provincial Journalists Association; the work of composing, propagating, promoting and organizing the activities of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association are given attention and direction.

At the conference, delegates spoke to clarify the results of press and propaganda work in June and proposed solutions to better implement propaganda work in July.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, emphasized the key tasks of press and propaganda work in the coming time: Focus on propagating and promptly reflecting events, commemorative activities, and important tasks of the province and the country.

Propagating the results of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly; organizing the regular mid-year meetings of the People's Councils of districts, cities and provinces.

Propaganda on the arrangement of administrative units at commune and district levels; directives and resolutions of the Politburo and the province; on salary reform; resolutions of the Provincial People's Council on housing support for poor households.

Propaganda on the anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day July 27; the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Ninh Binh, the 94th anniversary of the Party's Propaganda Sector's Traditional Day; activities to celebrate the 55th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament; activities to promote and advertise tourism development, and the implementation of the Ninh Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.

He also requested that press agencies actively respond to and participate in press competitions and awards organized by the Central and local levels.

Strengthen the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, combating wrong views and toxic information on the Internet and social networks; propagating the work of preventing and combating drug crimes, fraud and ensuring traffic safety and order.
