Orientation of development of social sciences, humanities and education in the context of digital transformation

Over the years, Hanoi National University of Education has successfully organized international scientific conferences. To continue, in 2025, Hanoi National University of Education announced that it will coordinate with French universities: École Normale Supérieure - ENS Ulm, École Nationale des Chartes, École Pratique des Hautes Études - EPHE; and with universities and research institutes at home and abroad to organize international scientific conferences on social sciences, humanities and educational sciences.

In the context of the world entering the era of digital transformation, the fields of social sciences, humanities, and educational sciences are expected to not only adapt but also proactively participate in explaining, predicting, and shaping historical changes of humanity.

In Vietnam, the Party and State have identified the breakthrough task of developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation as the fundamental driving force for national development. In that context, continuing to position and enhance the role of social sciences, humanities and educational sciences in the national development process, in conjunction with technology and digital transformation, has become an urgent requirement.

The workshop aims to create a forum for academic exchange and update, discuss and publish new and fundamental research results in the fields of social sciences and humanities, and educational sciences. In addition, the workshop also aims to promote cooperation between universities, research institutes, and scientific organizations at home and abroad; orient the development of social sciences and humanities and education in the digital age, propose solutions to adapt to technological changes, contribute to the implementation of the national digital transformation strategy in science and education, towards a modern, creative and integrated education.

The presentations of scholars participating in the Conference will focus on research and discussion in the following thematic groups: Philosophy, Religion; Psychology, Education; Linguistics, Literature, Cultural Studies, Art Studies; History, Anthropology, Archival Studies; Political Science, Sociology, Geography, Socio-Economics and Humanities; Vietnamese Studies, International Studies.

The workshop is scheduled to take place on November 28 at Hanoi National University of Education.

In preparation for the conference, the Organizing Committee said that it will receive abstracts before June 15 and that the papers submitted to the conference must be new research results that have not been published before. After that, high-quality, highly specialized papers will be selected to be presented at the conference and published in the proceedings.
