On May 9, 2025, Thoai Son District People's Committee coordinated with Kien Giang Secondary School to organize a conference on enrollment consultation, career guidance and introduction of training majors and occupations in 2025.

At the consultation session, representatives of Kien Giang College briefly introduced the school's formation process, implemented enrollment work in 2025; information on policies, scholarships, jobs after training and instructions on how to register for admission at the school.

The school has its headquarters in Rach Gia City and 5 campuses in Giong Rieng, Tan Hiep, U Minh Thuong, Kien Luong districts, and Phu Quoc City. The school trains a total of 40 professions in the fields of economics , tourism, foreign languages, information technology, engineering, technology, construction, agriculture, medicine, and aesthetics. Students who have graduated from junior high school and high school can apply for admission. In particular, students who have graduated from junior high school can study a profession in parallel with the cultural program, shortening the study time and having the opportunity to participate in the labor market early.
