Electronic medical record appraisal at Tri Ton District Medical Center

On May 27, Dr. Doan Thanh Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Health and Chairman of the Professional Council, chaired the assessment session on the implementation of electronic medical records at Tri Ton District Medical Center.

The appraisal council surveyed and evaluated the actual process at Tri Ton District Medical Center.

The survey council assessed the actual process of receiving patients at the medical examination registration kiosk; inpatient treatment process; cashless fee collection process; paraclinical implementation process using the 2-way PACS - RIS System...

As a result of the assessment, the Council unanimously assessed that Tri Ton District Medical Center met phase 1 standards in implementing electronic medical records.

Concluding the appraisal session, Dr. Doan Thanh Hung highly appreciated the investment of Tri Ton District Medical Center in implementing electronic medical records, which is a major policy on digital transformation and reform of administrative procedures in the health sector. Thereby, it is recommended that Tri Ton District Medical Center should soon complete the regulations, continue to upgrade the system, add some functions to complete and coordinate with the social insurance sector in the process of implementing electronic medical records.
