Son La Border Guard summarizes 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05

On this occasion, the Son La Provincial Border Guard Command summarized the work of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement for the 2020-2025 term of the Son La Provincial Border Guard Party Committee.

Over the past 10 years, the Party Committee of the Son La Provincial Border Guard Command has strictly implemented Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo , Directive No. 87-CT/QUTW of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee, in conjunction with the implementation of Directive No. 788-CT/QUTW dated December 26, 2013 of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee on the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers".

The Party Committee of the Son La Provincial Border Guard Command has also implemented Directive No. 855-CT/QUTW dated August 12, 2019 on stepping up the implementation of the Campaign to promote traditions, contribute talents, and be worthy of the title "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in the new period and Resolution No. 847-NQ/QUTW dated December 28, 2021 of the Central Military Commission on promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers".

Colonel Pham Tung Lam, Political Commissar of the Son La Provincial Border Guard Command, delivered a speech directing the conference summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo .

Regularly inspect and urge to promptly correct and overcome shortcomings and limitations. Timely commend and reward outstanding collectives and individuals in implementing Directive No. 05.

The Party Committee of the Border Guard Command of Son La province has used the results of studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh as a basis for reviewing and evaluating the results of completing tasks; analyzing the quality of Party organizations, mass organizations and cadres, Party members, union members and association members annually.

After 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05, 100% of grassroots party organizations have developed plans to study and follow in conjunction with the functions and tasks of their agencies and units; 100% of party members have made commitments to organizing the implementation of the contents and targets in the Emulation Movement for Victory and the working regulations of the Party Committee and unit commanders.

The Party Committee of the Son La Provincial Border Guard Command has advised the Son La Provincial Party Committee to issue 10 directives and conclusions on management and protection of territorial sovereignty and national border security every year.

Over the past 10 years, 100% of units have successfully completed the task of managing and protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security; have presided over the establishment and successful fight against many special projects and more than 1,000 cases of drug crimes and other types of crimes.

Every year, ensure at least 32 hours/year of education and study on topics about President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style each year; diversify forms and be flexible in propaganda methods.

After 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW, the Party Committee of the Border Guard Command of Son La province has achieved many outstanding results, creatively implementing 28 new models of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" associated with studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh.

There are many good and effective ways of doing things, and there have been many advanced and excellent examples in implementing the Directive, which have been commended and rewarded at all levels.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Son La Provincial Border Guard Party Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 groups and 9 individuals. It was proposed that the Border Guard Command award Certificates of Merit to 2 groups and 2 individuals and the Standing Committee of the Son La Provincial Party Committee award Certificates of Merit to 1 group and 1 individual.
