Lao Cai: Propagating electrical safety for students in the Simacai highlands

At the propaganda session, technical staff of Bac Ha Electricity presented basic knowledge about electricity, instructed on how to recognize dangers when using electricity at home and outdoors, and introduced measures to prevent electrical accidents and initial handling skills when encountering electrical problems.

Content is conveyed through visual images, real-life situations and direct interaction, helping students to easily understand, remember and enthusiastically receive.

In addition to providing knowledge, the program also arouses students’ sense of responsibility for protecting electrical safety in their families and communities. Each student will become a young propagandist, sharing the knowledge they have learned with relatives and friends, thereby contributing to spreading awareness of safe, economical and effective use of electricity in society.

The propaganda session was held at the school's multi-purpose hall.

On behalf of the school, Principal Ngo Thuy Duong acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of Bac Ha Electricity in coordinating the organization of this meaningful program. The activity is not onlyeducational but also practical, suitable for the actual conditions of the mountainous area, where infrastructure is limited and the intellectual level of the people is uneven.

Mr. Tran Van Thoan, Director of Bac Ha Electricity, said: “We will continue to maintain and expand electrical safety propaganda activities to schools and residential areas in the area, especially in remote communes. This is an inseparable responsibility in the management and operation of the power grid, contributing to ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.”

The propaganda program at Nan Sin Primary and Secondary School once again affirmed Bac Ha Electricity's commitment to bringing safe electricity to every home, building a safe and civilized living environment, and gradually realizing the goal of sustainable development of the local electricity industry.
