ROLAND GARROS SEMI-FINAL SCHEDULE
Lorenzo Musetti - Carlos Alcaraz (7:30 p.m., June 6)
Jannik Sinner - Novak Djokovic (0h, June 7)
After a convincing 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 quarterfinal win over third seed Alexander Zverev, Djokovic will face Sinner in the early morning of June 7 in the Roland Garros semi-finals. This is the most anticipated match of the tournament, promising to bring top performances between two generations.
Djokovic is chasing his fourth Roland Garros title and a record 25th Grand Slam title, an unprecedented milestone in men's tennis history. Meanwhile, Sinner is looking to win his first Roland Garros trophy and his fourth Grand Slam title, cementing his status as a rising star.
The upcoming match will be the ninth meeting between Djokovic and Sinner, with the head-to-head record currently at 4-4. Notably, Sinner has won four of the last five meetings, including the Shanghai Masters final last October, underscoring the Italian's recent form.

Speaking after his impressive win over Zverev, Djokovic did not hesitate to express his respect for his young opponent and acknowledged the challenges ahead.
“I just hope that I can keep up with Sinner physically in the next few days. It’s a big challenge for me, it’s going to get harder and harder, but it’s great, this is how things are at the highest level of Grand Slams,” the 38-year-old said at a press conference.
Djokovic continued to praise Sinner's form: "Sinner is in great form and he is the best player in the last few years. He played some great tennis, with an attacking style. He is very strong in all aspects of the game."
Recalling the history of their confrontation, Djokovic said: “I haven't played him for quite a while and we always have some interesting matches. At one point, I think we played three, four matches in a very short period of time on hard courts. We played once on clay in Monte Carlo many years ago. Of course, this will be a semi-final of a Grand Slam against the world number one. There is no bigger occasion for me. So I will try my best to go up and perform as well as I did tonight."

Sinner cruised into the semi-finals without dropping a set, raising questions about Djokovic's strategy to stop such a prolific opponent.
“I mean, yes and no. The strategy really depends on the day and how you feel on the court. I know what I expect from Sinner, he will step up, he will play at a very high level like he has done in almost every tournament he has played in the last year and a half. I don't expect anything less from him," said the world No. 6.
Djokovic stressed his motivation: “But matches and challenges like this, in a way, help me reach my full potential. Playing the best matches of the year, the final stage of a Grand Slam against the world number one, you can't get more motivated than that, especially for me at this age."
“So that's how I look at it now. How can I stop Sinner? I don't think about that. I think about how can I do what I want on the pitch and feel like I want to. That's where my thoughts go," he concluded, showing a focus on his own performance rather than worrying too much about his opponents.
