On August 18, speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Bui Van Manh - Director of Ninh Binh Province Department of Tourism, said that the locality has prepared to welcome the international delegation of the Indian billionaire to visit Trang An Heritage. The delegation is expected to have about 4,500 people. According to Mr. Manh, this is a large group of tourists, expected to have about 4,500 guests, divided into 7 consecutive visits from the morning of August 28 to the morning of September 5, 2024. "The fact that the Indian billionaire's delegation chose to visit Trang An is a great opportunity for Ninh Binh to promote the world heritage and promote the destination to the Indian tourist market" - Mr. Manh shared. According to Mr. Manh, with experience in receiving large groups of tourists, after receiving documents from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and Vietravel Company, the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism coordinated and discussed work tasks with relevant departments, branches and businesses to prepare the best conditions to welcome the group. Accordingly, specific plans have been proposed such as: dividing the road lanes, arranging wharfs, priority boats and separate ticket control personnel for the tour group, assigning English-speaking tour guides to introduce tourist attractions to tourists, preparing banners to welcome the tourist group at Trang An Eco-tourism Area... In 2024, Ninh Binh will have a tour in the top 25 most attractive tourist experiences in the world announced by Tripadvisor. As a province with many special natural landscapes, rich cultural and historical heritage, Ninh Binh is famous with domestic and international tourists. In the first 6 months of 2024, the number of visitors to this province is estimated at more than 6.2 million, an increase of nearly 39% over the same period last year and reaching nearly 84% of the yearly plan. Tourism revenue in the first 6 months is estimated at nearly 6,000 billion VND, more than 1.5 times higher than the same period last year, reaching 72% of the yearly plan. Ninh Binh aims to become a centrally-run city by 2035 with the characteristics of "Millennium Heritage City, Creative City", with Trang An Heritage as the center. Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage in 2014 with 3 outstanding criteria including: Outstanding global cultural values; aesthetic values; Outstanding global values of geology and geomorphology.Laodong.vn
