The Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Comrade Khamtay Siphandone is not only an outstanding leader of the first generation to build the Lao revolution, but also a great friend, a close comrade who always stood shoulder to shoulder with Vietnam throughout the struggle to protect the Fatherland, for the revolutionary cause of the two brotherly countries of Laos and Vietnam.

Along with that, the Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee sent New Year greetings to the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Attapeu province, and affirmed that today's young generation will continue the previous generation to constantly consolidate, build and develop the special relationship between the Party, State and People of Vietnam and Laos, in which Gia Lai and Attapeu provinces are always nurtured, closely connected, forever green, forever sustainable.
