The national monument of the 52nd Tay Tien Regiment is located at Na Bo hill, Moc Chau town, Son La province, where relics of the Tay Tien soldiers participating in the resistance war against French colonialism (1945-1954) are kept.
At the tourist site, the delegation offered incense at the Martyrs Memorial; listened to the explanation about the formation process and mission of the 52nd Tay Tien Regiment in the resistance war against French colonialism, as well as coordinating with Lao troops to firmly protect the Fatherland's border. The unit was honored to receive the "Determination to fight, victory" flag from President Ho Chi Minh and many noble awards from the Party and State.
The trip aims to strengthen training and education of revolutionary sentiment for the team of journalists in the city, in addition to encouraging and rewarding outstanding reporters and editors who won the Ho Chi Minh City Press Award, the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award, and the National Press Award in 2022-2023.

It is known that this is the first place in the revolutionary historical sites that the delegation visited and learned about.
The 2023 "Through the Northwest" journey, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda Department from December 12 to 16, 2023. In particular, the delegation will have a working session with the Provincial Party Committee, the Propaganda Department of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee; listen to information about activities to prepare for the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024). The delegation will also visit and give gifts to some policy families, poor households in border districts and Border Guard stations of Dien Bien province.
