The visit is part of activities to support sustainable development of community tourism and overcome the consequences caused by Typhoon Yagi in the past.

The delegation of experts visited and took souvenir photos at Homestay Cay of Mr. Nguyen Van Nghiem's family, Tha village, Phuong Do commune.

Tha village is 5km from the center of Ha Giang city, 99% of households are Tay ethnic people. This is an attractive tourist destination, preserving many beautiful traditional cultural features, cultural institutions, facilities, and infrastructure. Along with being recognized as meeting the New Rural standards, Tha village was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as meeting the criteria for building a typical cultural tourism village associated with the One Commune One Product OCOP Program.

Consult and discuss directly with Phuong Do commune leaders and homestay owners about issues that need to be resolved.

Since the beginning of the year, Tha village has been honored to welcome about 10 international expert delegations from countries such as France and Switzerland. With the aim of researching, assessing the current situation and proposing solutions to preserve indigenous cultural values, improve tourism infrastructure and enhance the livelihoods of local people.

The representative of the expert delegation said that Tha Village Cultural Tourism Village is one of the potential models for developing tourism associated with nature conservation and national cultural identity. The contributions and advice from international organizations are expected to help the local community gradually recover from natural disasters, while moving towards a green - friendly - sustainable tourism model in the future.
