Ho Chi Minh Museum Youth Union participates in the program "Youth Train with a journey to the source Vietnam to love"

Implementing the Youth Union's work program and youth movement in 2025; towards the 78th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), from July 17-20, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh Museum Youth Union participated in the activity "Youth Train with the journey to the roots of Vietnam to love - Promote the beauty of Vietnamese culture and tourism" taking place in Hanoi and Quang Tri. This is a series of activities chaired by the Youth Union of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VHTTDL) in coordination with the Youth Union of Vietnam Railways Corporation, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Youth Union of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union and related agencies and units to foster revolutionary ideals, enhance political capacity and arouse the sense of responsibility and aspiration to contribute in each union member and youth.

The opening ceremony of the program was held on July 17, 2025 at Hanoi Railway Station. Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Le Hai Binh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; comrade Dang Sy Manh, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Railways Corporation ; comrade Bui Hoang Tung, member of the Government Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the Government Youth Union; representatives of the leaders of the National Library of Vietnam, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; comrades Secretaries of coordinating units and more than 200 union members and youth. On the side of the Ho Chi Minh Museum Youth Union, there were comrade Trinh Ngoc Tan, Secretary of the Youth Union and comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union.

At the Ceremony, delegates enjoyed a special welcome art program performed by members and young artists from the Vietnam National Music and Dance Theater, Vietnam Puppetry Theater, Vietnam National Traditional Theater and Vietnam Dance Academy, conveying a profound message of patriotism, national pride and aspiration for national development.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Hai Binh, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, expressed his recognition and appreciation for the idea of the Youth Union of the units that combined the quintessence of traditional art bearing the cultural imprint of the Vietnamese people with the journey to the source and promote Vietnamese tourism. “This is a new and creative model. The journey to the source by train has a very profound meaning. This is a meaningful cultural - tourism and gratitude event of the union members and young people, a clear demonstration of the close cooperation between the organizations of the Youth Union of the Government with the desire to create a journey to promote railway tourism, combining the exploitation of the profound cultural and historical values of the country.”

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the leaders of the units directly saw the delegation off at the train station. This was a beautiful image, demonstrating the bond between generations, while affirming the trust and responsibility that the previous generation entrusted to today's youth.

Following the program, the Ho Chi Minh Museum Youth Union, along with delegates and members of the units, participated in many meaningful activities taking place in Quang Tri. The focus was the 2025 Youth Union Training Conference held in Dong Hoi City on July 19, 2025 with practical topics revolving around four outstanding contents: Youth contributes to preserving and promoting traditional culture in the context of international integration; Youth with the journey of developing green tourism; Application of AI and digital technology in Youth Union work; Improving knowledge for youth union members on protecting the Party's ideological foundation. Through the topics, youth union members had the opportunity to exchange, learn, and update new technology trends, while also being further trained in political mettle, social practice skills and the pioneering role of youth in the fields of culture, tourism, technology and political theory.
Within the framework of the program, the delegation also participated in many meaningful activities in the journey of gratitude and traditional education at typical red addresses in Quang Tri province such as: offering incense at the Monument of Youth Volunteers against the US to save the country in Phong Nha commune; visiting the 7-storey Cave (Chi Huy Cave) - one of the ecological sites associated with the historical mark of our nation's resistance war; participating in the candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the Ba Doc Martyrs' Cemetery - the resting place of more than 3,000 martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the country; Offering incense at the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery - the resting place of more than ten thousand martyrs who sacrificed on the legendary Ho Chi Minh trail; Visiting the Headquarters of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of South Vietnam in Cam Lo - a relic associated with the glorious historical journey of the nation, a symbol of the will to unify the country and the resilient fighting spirit; Offering incense at Quang Tri Citadel - the place that marked 81 days and nights of heroic fighting in the fiery summer of 1972 and listening to historical stories about the noble sacrifices of our fathers and brothers for the independence and freedom of the nation... Through these meaningful activities, not only did the members gain a deeper understanding of the history of the nation's revolutionary struggle, but they also aroused a sense of responsibility, spirit and aspiration to contribute to the community and the country.
The program "Youth Train with the journey to the source of Vietnam to love - Promote the beauty of Vietnamese culture and tourism" took place successfully, bringing many practical values, leaving a deep impression in the hearts of union members, youth and participating units. For the Ho Chi Minh Museum Youth Union, this is not only a trip of gratitude but also a journey of maturity, experience, pride and inspiration. From there, it creates motivation for union members to continue to strive to practice, promote the pioneering role of youth in preserving and promoting the value of Ho Chi Minh's heritage in particular, national cultural heritage in general, contributing to the cause of building and developing a prosperous and strong Vietnam.
