(laichau.gov.vn) This afternoon (July 27), the provincial working delegation led by Comrade Giang Pao My - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Ma Li Pho Heroic Martyrs' Monument, Phong Tho Commune on the occasion of the 78th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

Throughout the history of the struggle to build and defend the country, millions of outstanding children of Vietnam, including Lai Chau province, have devoted their youth, willingly sacrificed themselves for the Fatherland, bravely fought and heroically sacrificed on all battlefields to protect the independence, freedom and sacred territorial integrity of the Fatherland, and the happiness of the People.

On the occasion of the 78th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the provincial delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Monument of Heroic Martyrs Ma Li Pho, Phong Tho commune.

In the solemn atmosphere of the Ceremony, delegates expressed their infinite condolences and gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for national independence.

In front of the heroic martyrs, the provincial delegation promised to continue to lead, direct, work and fight worthy of the great sacrifices of the previous generations; determined to excellently complete the assigned political tasks; build Lai Chau province and Phong Tho commune to develop rapidly, sustainably and strongly; build a streamlined and modern local military force and regular Border Guard to firmly protect the Fatherland in the new situation.

The Provincial Party Secretary directed to plant more trees in the grounds of the Monument with the names of the heroic martyrs Ma Li Pho.
