On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, on the afternoon of June 11, the delegation of the Vietnam Journalists Association led by comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, visited the relic of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association Headquarters, where Uncle Ho conducted revolutionary activities in Guangzhou, at 248-250 Van Minh Street, Viet Tu District, Guangzhou, China.
It was here exactly 100 years ago that leader Nguyen Ai Quoc founded Thanh Nien Newspaper - the first mouthpiece of the Vietnamese Revolution.

Also attending the delegation were comrades: Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Tran Trong Dung, Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association in charge of the South and leaders of a number of central and local press agencies, leaders of local Journalists Associations.
From November 1924 to May 1927, Uncle Ho carried out revolutionary activities in Guangzhou. Here, he founded the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association, the first revolutionary organization based on communism. Marxism-Leninism as a compass.

The house at 248-250 Van Minh Street has made a special mark, with historical significance for Vietnamese journalists. On June 21, 1925, leader Nguyen Ai Quoc printed and published Thanh Nien Newspaper, the first newspaper of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.
Thanh Nien was the mouthpiece of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth League, the first newspaper to propagate Marxism-Leninism in Vietnam. Leader Nguyen Ai Quoc and a number of members of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth League organized writing, editing, and printing at this headquarters.
The newspaper has published 88 issues, each issue printed 100 copies, part of the printed copies were secretly sent back to Vietnam, promptly reaching the people in the country.

Witnessing with his own eyes the artifacts that revived the journalism atmosphere of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc and outstanding Vietnamese youths 100 years ago, journalist Le Quoc Minh was moved: "Directly seeing the images, artifacts, being introduced to the birth, the process of organizing and producing publications of Thanh Nien Newspaper in the past, we - those who have been and are continuing our career journey, feel like we have been given more strength. It is from the stories about Him that the team of journalists today appreciates their profession even more, and has more motivation to continue the journey and mission of revolutionary journalists. Vietnamese journalists always express their infinite gratitude to the contributions of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc - President Ho Chi Minh - the one who laid the foundation for the birth of Vietnam's Revolutionary Journalism".

On behalf of the delegation, journalist Le Quoc Minh presented the relic site with a special issue of Nhan Dan Newspaper commemorating 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press "Accompanying, creating and serving the country" and other special supplements published on the occasion of major national holidays such as the 70th anniversary of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory; 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day...

On the same day, the delegation of the Journalists Association visited Hoang Hoa Cuong cemetery - a cultural and historical tourist destination of Guangzhou city to offer flowers and incense to commemorate martyr Pham Hong Thai. On the stone stele at the tomb of martyr Pham Hong Thai is engraved the following inscription: "Comrade Pham Hong Thai (1895-1924) also known as Pham Thanh Tich, from Nghe An province, Vietnam. In his youth, he joined the Vietnam Restoration Association and actively participated in patriotic and national liberation movements. In 1924 in Guangzhou, comrade Pham Hong Thai planted a bomb to assassinate the Governor-General of Indochina Martial Merlin, however, the assassination attempt failed, so he threw himself into the Pearl River, making a heroic sacrifice."

Admiring the brave spirit of martyr Pham Hong Thai - the Vietnamese youth associated with the image of "The sound of bombs in Sa Dien - The sound of bombs in Pham Hong Thai", the people of Guangzhou buried martyr Pham Hong Thai at Hoang Hoa Cuong Cemetery - the resting place of 72 Chinese martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the 1911 Xinhai Revolution.
