Delegation of Military Industry - Telecommunications Group visited and worked in Tay Ninh province

On the afternoon of November 12, 2025, the working delegation of the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group (Viettel) led by Lieutenant General Tao Duc Thang - Chairman and General Director of Viettel Group had a working session with the leaders of Tay Ninh province. Receiving and working with Viettel Group were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Quyet; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Manh Hung; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut and leaders of provincial departments and branches.

Overview of the working session

On behalf of Viettel Group, Lieutenant General Tao Duc Thang - Chairman and General Director of Viettel Group thanked Tay Ninh province for its attention, support and facilitation for the Group's business and development activities in the province; especially in the development of a network to provide extensive telecommunications infrastructure to remote and border areas, and Tay Ninh is also one of the localities where Viettel has completed the target of developing 5G stations early in the country. In addition, the leaders of Tay Ninh and Long An provinces (old) have also paid attention to and supported Viettel Group in completing its defense, security and foreign affairs development tasks with the Kingdom of Cambodia in recent times.

Sending congratulations to the successful 1st Congress of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, Lieutenant General Tao Duc Thang also expressed his impression with the Breakthrough in science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation; green transformation, circular economy as set out in the Resolution of the Congress. At the same time, he affirmed that in the coming time, Viettel Group wishes to continue to accompany Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee in implementing tasks and solutions so that the province can soon complete the set goals and breakthroughs; first of all, effectively implement the strategic cooperation contents on digital transformation signed between the province and Viettel Group.

Appreciating the advantages and potential of Tay Ninh province in terms of transport infrastructure, strategic location, international gateway connecting with Mekong sub-region countries and Asian countries, the Chairman and General Director of Viettel Group said that Viettel Group is focusing on surveying, promoting the logistics sector and building research centers in the province. Therefore, Viettel Group hopes to continue receiving the attention and support of Tay Ninh Provincial Leaders so that Viettel Group can complete its assigned tasks; especially in carrying out defense and security tasks assigned by the Party, State and Ministry of National Defense.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the leaders of Tay Ninh province, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quyet acknowledged and thanked Viettel Group for its affection for Tay Ninh and Long An (old) provinces over the past time and now the new Tay Ninh province; especially for accompanying in social security programs.

Expressing his impression of the development of Viettel Group in recent times, the Provincial Party Secretary said that Tay Ninh always creates the best conditions for businesses and corporations to operate and develop in the province with the common goal of promoting science and technology, digital transformation in the province, contributing to local development. Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quyet also hopes that Viettel Group will continue to pay attention to and support Tay Ninh province in foreign affairs, ensuring security and defense, creating conditions for the province to focus on socio-economic development.
