Regarding the first group of issues in the judicial field, the Session revolved around the implementation of the law and ordinance development program; solutions to ensure progress, quality, records, and procedures of projects and drafts submitted by the Government to the National Assembly ; solutions to improve the quality of the legal system, control power, prevent and combat corruption and negativity in the law-making work...; the current situation and solutions to improve the capacity, effectiveness, and efficiency of the work of inspecting legal documents; improving the effectiveness of asset auctions and judicial appraisals.

Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long said that the Ministry of Justice has coordinated with the Government Office to regularly monitor and urge the work of building and perfecting laws in ministries and ministerial-level agencies; preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies in ensuring the progress and quality of preparing projects and draft legal documents, especially projects under the Law and Ordinance Building Program of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee. Currently, the Ministry of Justice is building and preparing to submit to the Government and the National Assembly proposals and draft laws such as: Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Property Auction; Law on Notarization; Law on Civil Judgment Enforcement, Law on Judicial Expertise, etc.

As for the second group of issues in the field of agriculture and rural development, the meeting focused on issues of solutions to remove difficulties for agricultural exports; activities of exploiting, protecting and developing aquatic resources and proposing and recommending solutions to remove the "yellow card" of the European Commission (EC) for aquatic products; conversion of land use purposes, recovery of rice-growing land areas, ensuring food security and rice export.

The Minister suggested that in such a situation, we need to have a calm attitude, because every problem can have negative aspects if not managed well, if we only analyze one aspect, one side, we will not have a comprehensive view.

Regarding the Mekong Delta, the Minister said that there are about 300 days a year for sowing, due to the nature of sowing according to the water level, sowing is done as the water recedes, so there is no distinct season like in the North, but sowing is done continuously. Therefore, the issue of overlapping crops, calculating summer-autumn and autumn-winter crops for the Mekong Delta is only of statistical value. Under current conditions, if there are no natural disasters, with the stable climate change situation as in the past few years, we can completely ensure domestic consumption as well as export output...
