The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on March 21 that the Mariinsky Theatre troupe in Vladivostok, Primorsky region of Russia, performed the ballet "Sleeping Beauty" at the Mansudae Art Theatre in Pyongyang.
The performance was held on March 20 to mark the 75th anniversary of the signing of the Russia-DPRK Economic and Cultural Agreement.
North Korean Culture Minister Sung Jong-gyu attended and enjoyed the performance together with Primorsky Region Governor Oleg Kozhemyako and Russian Deputy Culture Minister Andrei Maluishev.
