The Quest for Ambergris tells the story of the journey to find ambergris (a gray waxy substance produced in the digestive system of sperm whales, highly valuable in the perfume and cosmetics industry) of the brothers Tam (Quang Tuan) - Tuan (Ma Ran Do).

The two brothers, with the support and companionship of their friends Hoang (Hoang Toc Dai) and Ut Linh (Nguyen Thao), go through many storms and continuously encounter unexpected "twists" to find the treasure of the fishing village and realize the core values ​​of family love and neighborly affection.
