Vinaconex Tourism Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (stock code VCR) announced a loss of more than VND 5 billion in the second quarter of 2025, bringing the loss after the first 6 months of this year to VND 10.6 billion, a slight decrease compared to the loss of more than VND 10.8 billion in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, Tu Liem Urban Development Joint Stock Company (stock code NTL) has just announced its consolidated financial report for the second quarter of 2025 with a sharp decline in both revenue and profit. Specifically, during the period, the company achieved net revenue of VND 6.14 billion, down nearly 99% compared to more than VND 1,379 billion in the same period last year. Thanks to recording VND 20.86 billion in financial revenue - mainly from interest on deposits and securities investments along with reducing business management costs, NTL still achieved a profit after tax of VND 1.93 billion, down 99.7% compared to VND 646.6 billion in the second quarter of 2024. In the first 6 months of 2025, the company's net revenue reached VND 9,622 billion, profit after tax was VND 8.27 billion, both down over 99% compared to the same period last year.
Another real estate company, Nam Long Investment Joint Stock Company (stock code NLG), recorded net revenue in the second quarter of 2025 of VND 773 billion, 3.1 times higher than the same period last year. During this period, NLG's financial revenue decreased by 83% to just over VND 43 billion, and the profit in the joint venture company also decreased by half to over VND 20 billion. On the contrary, selling expenses increased by 185% to VND 121 billion. As a result, Nam Long reported a profit after tax of VND 97.5 billion, down 39% over the same period last year. However, in the first 6 months of 2025, thanks to positive results from the first quarter, Nam Long achieved net revenue of VND 2,064 billion, profit after tax of VND 207 billion, respectively 4 times and 3 times higher than the same period last year...
