Enterprises and business households are not affected after Hai Duong tax and customs operate under the new apparatus.

Because procedures have been carried out online, businesses and business households will not be affected when tax and customs authorities operate under the new system.

Currently, 100% of enterprises and business households paying taxes in Hai Duong province have submitted tax declarations online. Similarly, import-export declarations and related administrative procedures have also been carried out online.

Therefore, the operation of Hai Duong Tax and Hai Duong Customs under the new organizational model does not affect the implementation of tax obligations or import-export activities of enterprises and business households.

In addition, tax and customs authorities also affirmed to ensure smooth administrative procedures and processes to serve businesses and business households.

From March 1, 2025, Hai Duong Tax belongs to the Tax Department of Region V together with Bac Ninh and Thai Binh, with headquarters located in Hai Duong.

Hai Duong Customs belongs to the Regional Customs Branch IV, together with Hung Yen, Ha Nam , Nam Dinh, with headquarters located in Hung Yen.

In 2025, Hai Duong was assigned by the Ministry of Finance a domestic tax revenue estimate of VND 23,680 billion, an increase of nearly 40% compared to the revenue estimate assigned in 2024.

Hai Duong Customs Branch strives to collect over VND4,290 billion in budget revenue in 2025, exceeding at least about 10% of the estimate.
