According to the plan, the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) in 2025 will officially take place from November 20 - 24 at Kim Thanh Exhibition Fair Center. This is an annual fair alternately organized by Lao Cai province (Vietnam) and Ha Khau district (Yunnan province, China), which has become a "brand" in economic - cultural exchange in the border area between Vietnam and China.

The Fair is expected to have a scale of about 500 - 550 standard booths and about 4,000 m2 of exhibition area. The items exhibited, introduced and sold at the fair are very diverse, from agricultural, forestry, aquatic, seafood products, machinery and equipment, raw materials, chemicals, construction materials; electronics, refrigeration, household electrical appliances, household appliances; garments, footwear; consumer goods, wooden household furniture, handicrafts... to exhibition booths promoting investment, trade and tourism .
This fair is held in the context of digital transformation, cross-border e-commerce and logistics are developing strongly. Therefore, businesses expect this fair to not only be a place to buy and sell, exchange goods, but also a place to "lay the foundation" to approach the Chinese market with more modern, equal and sustainable trading models.

As a unit that owns a large coffee growing area for export, associated with many cooperatives and farmers in Dak Lak province, Big Expo Import Export Joint Stock Company has registered a booth early, prepared a large amount of coffee as well as some other potential agricultural products for export with the expectation of being able to approach more Chinese partners to export to this populous market.
Ms. Tran Thuy Nga - General Director of Big Expo Import Export Joint Stock Company shared: "We bring to this fair not only coffee products but also the story of safe, deeply processed agricultural products, hoping to help partners understand the value of Vietnamese agricultural products. Through this fair, we really hope to approach other partners in China to bring coffee and other agricultural products deeper into this market."
Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Que - Director of Viet Trung Logistics Joint Stock Company also said that the company has not missed any Vietnam - China International Trade Fair. Because, through the fairs, the Company has more partners and customers in the Chinese market.
Mr. Que shared: "Not only looking for regular partners in the field of import and export, at this fair we also expect to meet partners providing modern, smart logistics solutions, suitable for the trend of digital transformation and cross-border e-commerce".

In addition to product display, introduction and exhibition activities, there will be many other trade promotion activities within the framework of the fair. According to the plan, on November 20, there will be a Talk on Economic and Trade Cooperation between Lao Cai Province (Vietnam) and Yunnan Province (China); a Conference to introduce import-export policies and mechanisms combined with trade between Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises.
In particular, from November 20 to November 23, for the first time within the framework of the Fair, Megalive sessions will take place to introduce, promote and sell products directly, in order to promote trade connections and product consumption.
Talking about the expectations at the Fair, Ms. Hoang Thi Mui - Vice President of Lao Cai Young Entrepreneurs Association said: "Our young business community is interested in digital tools, promotion channels, online connections, not just displaying and selling goods. In addition to the opportunity to connect and cooperate with Chinese businesses with long-term, sustainable and friendly contracts, we are looking forward to these Megalive sessions to learn more about e-commerce and the application of digital platforms in promotion and sales."

According to information from the Fair Organizing Committee, up to now, 159 units, enterprises and cooperatives have registered to participate with a total of 331 booths, of which the Chinese side has registered 200 standard booths. Other tasks in preparation for the Fair are being implemented by the Organizing Committee, the Department of Finance and related departments and branches to ensure progress according to plan.
The 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) is approaching. With careful preparation and new breakthroughs, it is believed that this year's Fair will continue to open up opportunities for businesses from Vietnam - China and third countries to connect deeply, access modern and smart trade models, and meet the expectations of the business community.
