Binh Thuan tourism revenue in the first 3 months of the year reached about 7,000 billion VND

At the conference, Ms. Nguyen Lan Ngoc - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province said that Binh Thuan is known as one of the top attractive tourist destinations in Vietnam, with the advantage of beautiful nature, long beaches and mild climate all year round.

In particular, Binh Thuan is gradually affirming its position on the regional and world tourism map. Mui Ne National Tourist Area is gradually becoming an international tourist center, a leading destination in the Asia-Pacific region, creating momentum to spread to other areas in the province, contributing to improving the competitiveness of Binh Thuan tourism, making tourism a key economic sector.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province held a tourism promotion conference in Hanoi on the afternoon of April 10.

In the first 3 months of 2025, the number of tourists visiting and relaxing in Binh Thuan is estimated to reach over 2.6 million, of which over 152,000 are international visitors, most of whom are from Korea, China, Russia, Germany, the UK and the US; revenue from tourism activities is estimated to reach over 7,000 billion VND.

During the Fair, at the Binh Thuan Tourism booth organized by the Provincial Tourism Promotion Center with the participation of businesses, there will be continuous activities such as: introducing cuisine; tourism game shows; promotional programs; showing video clips introducing destinations, lucky gifts, lucky draws, enjoying delicious food....

In addition, at the Binh Thuan Tourism booth, there is also a continuous introduction to a series of large-scale cultural, sports and tourism events that will take place in Binh Thuan on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Binh Thuan (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025).

With the goal of developing green and sustainable tourism, Binh Thuan is developing the main tourism products, which are "green" tourism, linking tourism activities with preserving and promoting the values ​​of resources and protecting the environment; preserving and developing cultural tourism products associated with festivals, visiting and learning about the life of local communities and traditional craft villages; promoting the development of eco-tourism products of forests - waterfalls - lakes - islands, nature conquest tourism, adventure tourism, agricultural eco-tourism, community tourism combined with staying at local homes (homestay), health care tourism (Wellness); combining tourism with meetings, awards, seminars, events (MICE) contributing to the development of green and sustainable tourism.

Along with that, Binh Thuan continues to make efforts to build a green and modern tourism brand associated with organizing international-scale events and participating in international tourism events to promote the image of tourist destinations; thereby, vividly and fully introducing its outstanding advantages: sun, wind, sand, beautiful beaches, fresh nature and especially gentle and hospitable people... to charm, attract and invite domestic and international tourists to come in increasing numbers, stay longer and return more often.

In the near future, when the transportation system such as highways and high-speed trains are completed connecting Binh Thuan, or when Long Thanh International Airport and Phan Thiet Airport are put into operation, Binh Thuan will have more opportunities to attract tourists./.
