Nam Cuong Sand Dunes is one of the prominent destinations in Ninh Thuan , impressing with the wild beauty of the golden sand dunes stretching like a "mini desert". Nam Cuong Sand Dunes is located in An Hai Commune, Ninh Phuoc District, Ninh Thuan Province, about 8 km southeast of Phan Rang – Thap Cham city center. Estimated travel time is from 20 to 25 minutes.

To get here, visitors can choose two main forms:

  • Motorbike: This is the ideal vehicle for active exploration . The suggested coastal route will give you the opportunity to admire the grape fields and the seascape of Ninh Thuan.
  • Taxi: If you are traveling in a group, a taxi is a convenient option, costing around 150,000 – 200,000 VND per trip. Routes such as National Highway 1A or Thong Nhat Road – Dao Long Bridge will help you travel faster and safer.

Ideal timing

The best time to visit Nam Cuong sand dunes is during the dry season, from December to August of the following year, when the weather is dry and sunny. To avoid the harsh sunlight and enjoy the best scenery, you should come early in the morning (5:30 – 7:00) or late in the afternoon (16:00 – 18:00).
