In addition, Coach Giustozzi also gave a chance to young ala Nguyen Tien Hung - a talent who grew up from Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City, who was recently honored as the Best Player of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City U20 Futsal Open Tournament. Tien Hung's presence is expected to bring a new breeze and increase competition in the squad.
According to plan, the Vietnamese futsal team will train in Ho Chi Minh City from November 10 to December 10, before leaving for Thailand to attend the 33rd SEA Games.
The men's futsal event of this year's Games has 5 participating teams, including Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Myanmar. The teams will compete in a round robin to determine the final ranking. With an even squad, determination and thorough preparation, the Vietnamese futsal team aims to be in the top two.
