The draw for the 2025 AFF Women’s Championship will officially take place at 10am on June 9 in Hanoi. This is an event that determines the matches in the group stage, opening the biggest tournament in the region for national women’s teams. In which, the Vietnamese women’s team will play at home.

2025 marks the 13th edition of the tournament, and the first time the tournament has a title sponsor - MSIG, the leading non-life insurance company in Southeast Asia. This year, the 2025 AFF Women's Championship brings together 8 national women's teams from members of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), including: defending champions Philippines, Thailand (4-time champions), Australia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Timor Leste and the host Vietnam women's team (3-time champions). As planned, the 2025 AFF Women's Championship will take place from August 6 to 19.

The draw ceremony for the 2025 AFF Women's Football Championship will officially take place at 10:00 on June 9.

The seeding is based on performance at the 2022 AFF Women's Championship and the 2024 AFF Women's Cup - the tournament that serves as qualifiers for this year's AFF Women's Championship.

The draw will be chaired by AFF President Khiev Sameth. The organizing committee will divide the 8 teams into 2 groups of 4 teams each. The teams will compete in a round-robin at 2 stadiums: Viet Tri (Phu Tho) and Lach Tray (Hai Phong). The draw will be broadcast live on TV channels and online platforms in participating countries. In Vietnam, viewers can watch the event on FPT Play platforms.

The top two teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals, which will take place on August 16. The third-place match and final will take place on August 19.
