Bustling service and tourism activities
To serve tourists during DIFF 2025 and the summer, accommodation facilities, entertainment areas and venues have launched many attractive activities, bringing an unprecedented vibrant and jubilant atmosphere to develop Da Nang tourism. Parks and resort and entertainment destinations ofSun Group in Da Nang organize a series of attractive, multi-experience accompanying events to attract tourists. Notably, at the top of Ba Na, visitors can immerse themselves in colorful flower festivals such as the Sun Flower Festival, Rose Festival, Sun Kraft Beer 2025 Fresh Beer and Culinary Festival, experience new culinary works: wine cellar, French bread factory and ice cream factory... At Danang Downtown, traditional and modern festivals and music concerts promise to make the city's nightlife destination continue to shine.
At Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park tourist area, in addition to typical services such as hot mineral baths, mineral mud baths, and water park entertainment, the unit has launched many interesting check-in items such as: visiting the bird garden - mushroom garden, the love forest, exploring the picnic area with tent services or outdoor BBQ Buffet packages... In particular, the tourist area has put into service the Animal Actors entertainment show with monkey circus performances, python circus, interacting with parrots, taking pictures with three-headed dinosaurs or the God of Wealth parade with the 12 zodiac animals...
Accompanying the city, the Da Nang Tourism Association has built many tour programs around DIFF 2025: package tours including sightseeing and fireworks viewing, food tours plus fireworks viewing tickets, room combos plus fireworks viewing tickets or even just distributing fireworks viewing tickets..., carrying out communication, promotion and selling tour programs right after the Lunar New Year. "Units make sales plans and advise tourists to arrange schedules as well as departure times so that tourists can experience the entire time in Da Nang and enjoy the eye-catching fireworks displays.
The Danang Tourism Association participates in the Enjoy Summer festival program taking place at the same time as DIFF at Bien Dong Park with 2 booths and many promotional programs, mini games with prizes, special tour programs combining cultural and culinary exploration... for domestic and international tourists. And at the same time, the Tourism Association also participates in organizing sports activities on the sea such as: barefoot running on the sea... and other artistic activities in the series of events to enjoy the summer", Chairman of the Danang Tourism Association Ho Thanh Tu said.
Driving force for urban tourism
According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh, Chairman of the Danang Hotel Association, since 2008, the Danang International Fireworks Festival has become an iconic “event brand” of the city. Throughout this process, despite being interrupted during the Covid-19 period, DIFF has not only contributed to promoting the image of a dynamic and hospitable Danang, but also acted as a “catalyst” to stimulate domestic and international tourism, helping Danang become one of the fastest recovering and growing destinations in terms of international and domestic visitors in Vietnam.
Mr. Quynh said: “This event helps Da Nang attract millions of visitors every year, especially in the summer, the season that attracts international and domestic tourists. Since then, service industries such as accommodation, cuisine, transportation, shopping, entertainment, etc. have all had positive changes, creating jobs and increasing revenue for the locality. In particular, DIFF also encourages businesses to create new tourism products and improve services. Along with the rich activities of the Summer Enjoyment Festival organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, it creates a vibrant festival season with strong spreading value. Clearly, DIFF has created a different Da Nang tourism compared to other destinations”.
According to the Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association, Ho Thanh Tu, DIFF is a festival that domestic and foreign tourists as well as local people look forward to this summer. The nights before and on the day of the fireworks, accommodation facilities are almost “full” of rooms; restaurants, entertainment venues, transportation vehicles... operate at full capacity during the weekends of the fireworks festival.
Mr. Tu said that the number of teams participating in DIFF is increasing every year, the performance nights are increasingly invested in larger scale, which proves the attraction and development of DIFF, contributing to the growth and development of Da Nang tourism. According to Mr. Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, DIFF 2025 is expected to contribute to the excitement of Da Nang tourism this summer. Da Nang expects to welcome 4-4.5 million visitors in the summer, an increase of 12-15% compared to the same period in 2024.
As the unit coordinating with the City People's Committee to organize DIFF, Vice Chairman and General Director of Sun Group Central Region Huynh Nam Thang said that with the theme "Da Nang - New Era", DIFF 2025 promises to be not only the longest and largest fireworks season in the history of DIFF with the most performance nights and participating teams ever, but also aims to bring the ultimate, emotional experiences to the audience thanks to breakthrough creativity in technology combined with impressive art, music and sports performances. DIFF 2025 continues to bring the name of Da Nang further and further into the international arena and become an attractive tourist destination of regional and world stature every summer.
