Emirates Flight EK370 departed from Dubai at 9:00 a.m. (local time), transited in Bangkok, and landed at Da Nang International Airport at 7:50 p.m. carrying 333 international passengers.

Immediately after landing, the plane was greeted with a water cannon ceremony; passengers enjoyed a traditional art performance, and were given flowers and souvenirs as a warm welcome, demonstrating the hospitality of Da Nang.

This is the first flight in Emirates' regular operation plan on the Dubai - Bangkok - Da Nang route, with a frequency of 4 flights per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
“The launch of this route is a significant step in Emirates’ growth strategy in Southeast Asia and reinforces our commitment to providing seamless connectivity to support Vietnam’s long-term trade and tourism goals,” said Nabil Sultan, Emirates Executive Vice President, Passenger Business and Country Management.

According to Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Emirates' operation of flights to Da Nang helps the city connect with more than 140 of the airline's global destinations, including potential markets such as the Middle East, Europe, North America and Africa... This route not only promotes tourism development but also expands opportunities for cooperation in trade, investment and economic and cultural exchange, contributing to spreading the promotion of Da Nang to the world with the message "Discover the stories of Danang".
